The final scorecards in the UFC on ESPN 15 headliner between Frankie Edgar and Pedro Munhoz showed a marked difference of opinion among the three judges who scored the fight.

Veteran judge Sal D’Amato had it four rounds to one for Munhoz, while fellow vets Derek Cleary and Eric Colon gave Edgar the fight three rounds to two. Check out the official scorecards below for the fight, which Edgar won 48-47, 46-49, 48-47.

D’Amato gave Munhoz rounds 1, 3, 4 and 5 via scores of 10-9. Cleary gave Edgar 10-9s in rounds 2, 3 and 5, while Colon gave the ex-champ the same tally for rounds 1, 2 and 5.

Edgar is no stranger to close fights. He famously fought Gray Maynard to a split draw as the lightweight champion in 2011 and failed to regain the belt one year later in a split decision loss to then-champ Benson Henderson, who earlier beat him via unanimous decision to capture the belt.

Not only did Edgar win over the judges, but he also got a fresh start in a new weight division after several bids for the featherweight belt went south. Heading into Saturday’s fight at UFC APEX, he lost back-to-back fights in meetings with Max Holloway and Chan Sung Sung, prompting him to make good on a plan to move divisions.

Munhoz now has dropped two straight fights after a knockout win over Cody Garbrandt put him on the title radar.
